Golf Stance After addressing the ball, you should make sure your
stance is in sync with your alignment. Once again, 90º angles come
into play and between your target and your left foot (for right handed
people; opposite for lefties). Place your feet as shown in these
pictures.
Setup as you did in the Alignment section with the clubs laid out on
the ground.
Shift your weight to the back foot as discussed on the Rhythm and
Balance page being sure that you keep your feet in the 90º angles
formed by the clubs.
Rememeber to move your shoulders, then your arms and the club, and
finally begin to move your legs.
Your shoulders and then your arms should always come through the ball
first, keeping your feet in those 90º angles formed by the clubs.
The weight shift of your back leg to your forward leg occurs here.
A good follow through is essential to the end of the swing because it
determines the final path of the ball.
